How to Manage Media in WordPress
Step 1: Access the Media Library

Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

In the left-hand menu, click on Media to access the Media Library.
Step 2: Upload Media Files

Click the Add New button at the top of the Media Library.

Drag and drop your files into the upload area or click Select Files to browse your computer.

Once uploaded, your files will appear in the Media Library.
Step 3: Edit Media Files
- Click on any media item in the library to view its details.
- From here, you can:
- Edit the file’s title, caption, alt text, and description.
- Crop, rotate, or scale the image using the built-in image editor.
Step 4: Organize Media

Use the Search bar in the Media Library to find specific files by name.

Filter media items by type (e.g., images, videos) or date using the dropdown menus.
Step 5: Insert Media into a Page or Post

While editing a page or post, click the + Add Block button and select Image or Gallery.

Choose an existing image from the Media Library or upload a new one.

Adjust alignment, size, and other settings as needed.
Step 6: Delete Media Files

Go to the Media Library and select the file you want to delete.

Click Delete Permanently to remove the file from your site.
